Analysis
Analysis online
The book can be used standalone, without needing to access any of this content. The Analysis online content here is available in case you wish to learn how to do the statistical analyses for yourself. One possible way to use the book is to ignore this content the first time you read the book, but use it on a second read through.
Use the sidebar to navigate to whichever chapter you want. Like the book, the online content is intended to be accessed in chapter order. And I’ll assume that you’ve already read the chapter before you come here for the additional online content for that chapter.
The focus of the online content is showing you how to do the analyses described in the chapters for yourself. To do this, I use the statistical programming language R, but without needing to download or install any software. Using WebR, you will be able to do everything using just an ordinary web browser. No previous experience of anything will be assumed!
Data sets
The fictitious data sets used in the book are available at https://github.com/colinfoster77/Stats.
We’ll use these in the online content for each chapter to reproduce the analyses discussed in the chapter.
